Monday’s snow storm caused many closings, but despite the dangerous conditions, NES team members traveled to the New England Center and Home for Veterans (NECHV) in Boston to help those in need.
NECHV provides 24/7 education, clinical support, employment, housing, and emergency shelter to any veteran of the United States military, regardless of branch or length of service.
Brian Hartigan, John Hennessey, Patrick Beauregard, Christina Jurasek and Kyle Marsan gathered at the center on Monday, and served lunch to over 100 veterans who were sheltered throughout the storm.
Northeast Security continuously exercises their civic engagement and volunteers their time to many shelters across New England, including NECHV, in order to give back to their community.
