John A. Hennessey

Mr. Hennessey has over 30 years of leadership experience in security operations, law enforcement and property management. Prior to becoming President of Northeast Security, Mr. Hennessey held senior security operations leadership positions in the commercial real estate and hospitality industries, and property management leadership positions supporting the physical and tactical design and operations of some of the region’s signature properties. A graduate of Northeastern University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice, Mr. Hennessey is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security, Massachusetts Chiefs of Police Association and the Building Owners and Managers Association.

Mr. Hennessey began his career with Northeast Security in 2011 as an Account Manager. John has also served as a Client Manager and Vice President. In 2019, Mr. Hennessey became a Principal where he oversees all day-to-day operations within Northeast Security. Mr. Hennessey is a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association and a graduate of Saint Anselm College with a B.S. in Criminal Justice, a Masters of Business Administration from Bentley University, and a graduate of New England Law Boston.
Brian Hartigan

Mr. Hartigan has over 13 years of security experience with Northeast Security, becoming Principal in 2019. Mr. Hartigan has served many roles within Northeast Security, from Security Supervisor, Site Manager, Account Manager, and Client Manager. Mr. Hartigan was then promoted to Assistant Vice President of Quality Assurance and Vice President. In his current role as Principal, Mr. Hartigan oversees all day-to-day operations within Northeast Security. He is a graduate of Saint Anselm College with a B.S. in Criminal Justice and a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association.
Mike Gambino

Mr. Gambino has over 20 years of security experience with Northeast Security in various roles. Mr. Gambino was hired in April of 1999 as an Account Manager while serving in the Massachusetts Army National Guard. Mr. Gambino was deployed in October 2001 in support of the response to the September 11th attacks. In his 23 year career with Northeast Security, Mr. Gambino has worked as an Account Manager, Portfolio Manager, Client Manager, Senior Client Manager and in 2022 Mike was promoted to Vice President of Operations. Mr. Gambino is a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association.
Patrick Crowley

Mr. Crowley began his career with Northeast Security in 2014. Prior to joining Northeast Security, Mr. Crowley graduated from Salem State University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. Mr. Crowley has held multiple positions within Northeast Security including Security Supervisor, Account Manager, Client Manager, and Senior Client Manager. Serving as a Client Manager since 2019, Mr. Crowley established strong client and colleague relationships, and effectively expanded his portfolio by educating his clients on NES policies, procedures, and standards. Mr. Crowley was promoted to Vice President of Quality Assurance in 2023 and is a member of the Building Owners and Management Association.
Steven A. Barner

Mr. Barner has over 30 years of progressively challenging financial, administrative and operational experience in various industries. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Management Accountant, and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and Institute of Certified Management Accountants. Mr. Barner is a graduate of Bentley University where he earned a B.S. in Accountancy.
Sheila Quinlan

Ms. Quinlan has over 30 years of security industry experience with Northeast Security ranging from Director of Security at Class A High Rise properties, to Account Manager for US Department of Defense clients, to her current role where she is responsible for ensuring the highest levels Quality and Customer Care. A graduate of Westfield State College with a B.S. in Criminal Justice, Ms. Quinlan is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security and the Society for Human Resources Management.
Jeffrey P. Horblit

Mr. Horblit is an experienced attorney, prosecutor, and investigator, and brings to Northeast Security a unique combination of education, training, and experience. Prior to joining the Northeast Security, Mr. Horblit founded and managed a successful law firm, served as an Assistant District Attorney in New York City, and was a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Most recently, Mr. Horblit served as CEO of Northeast Intelligence Group, Inc., a corporate investigations and risk consulting firm based in Boston, Massachusetts. Mr. Horblit is a graduate of the Fordham University School of Law and is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York.
Devin E. Taylor

Ms. Taylor and her team oversee all employee matters, including policy and procedure enforcement, employee recruitment and onboarding, contractual adherence, employee counsel, benefits and support. Prior to joining Northeast Security, Ms. Taylor served with the Boston Police Department in Human Resources for over 15 years, and the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority for over 8 years. Ms. Taylor holds a Masters Degree from Boston University, an undergraduate degree from Salve Regina University and graduate level certifications from Northeastern University, Suffolk University, and University of Massachusetts at Lowell. Ms. Taylor is also a graduate of the Lead Boston program, and a recipient of the City of Boston Shattuck Award.
Gerry Hennessey

Mr. Hennessey has over 30 years’ experience in Security Management and Business Development. He is a graduate of Boston University with a B.A. in Marketing and Communications. He is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security, Massachusetts Chiefs of Police Association, and the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators.

Mr. Marchi has over 30 years of Human Resource and Operational Management experience in Financial Services, Health and Benefits Management, and Consumer Goods. Prior to joining Northeast Security, Mr. Marchi was the Senior Operations Manager for Mercer Health and Benefits and held the positions of National Staffing Manager and Employee Development Manager during his 10 years with Nestle Waters North America. Mr. Marchi holds a Masters Degree, Education from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, a Bachelors of Science, Management from Curry College, and a Professional Certificate in Human Resource Management from Stonehill College.
